Venting the right way

One time or the other, many of us would have faced misunderstandings leading to ugly strife. It could be with elders, superior at office, pesky colleague, friends or spouse; on telephone, social networking apps or in person! There's no dearth of the variety of thoughts which one is faced in varied situations.

The human mind is vast. The multitude of thoughts it caters is so high that its not possible to have similar thoughts with different people. What to do when faced with a clash of opinions/ideas? Shooting a highly exasperated response doesn't rescue you from the situation. It rather drags your mind away from peace. It looks like an easier alternative from a blunt moment but can be avoided. Yes, surely it can. How?!?!

Wait and focus on your breathing pattern. Meanwhile, instill your thoughts and think about the consequence of delivering it (in your mind). Is it required? Will things change for good upon uttering some differing words? If it will change things for good, go ahead. But if its otherwise, halt yourself and protect the situation! Were you able to digest it? When you cannot digest the words you are about to speak, can the opposite person do likewise?

Thinking "I am right, He/She is a fool who is not understanding my thing" is being prudent. You cannot be right always! Similarly, dont undermine yourself. If you really think what you say will be beneficial, say it with patience. Having different thoughts isn't a bad thing at all. Its how you face it and modulate your speaking.

If you want your thought to be implemented, adopt 'Being patient' approach and putforth your ideas in a friendly tone rather than being an anger laden creeper. Saying things loudly doesn't help. Its the pitch of your thoughts complexed with a pinch of good attitude which will get you through a directionless conversation.

Everybody has an anger aspect but the difference lies on how one deals with it and explains the other party with a different approach to the situation.

Be receptive to others and most importantly,
Listen quietly and react with worthy reasoning!
